Into to Music Video

Hey there! I'm back! My name is Mia Landol and I am a tenth grader at Fort Lauderdale High. My favorite sport is volleyball. I've been playing for a little over 4 years. I'm on the JV team at school and my teammates are like my best friends. Some of my favorite things to do are sleep, eat, and hang with friends. I'm a little nervous for the school year ahead because of all the work I'm going to have to do, but I know I will be able to push through. My favorite subject is history! I love learning about the past and how it will effect the future. My least favorite subject is math. I haven't always been the best when it comes to algebra or geometry but my goal this year is to pass with at least a B! I like arts and crafts a lot. It relaxes me for some odd reason but its just so calming. I could be having the worst day and the second I start painting or doing some kind of art I am relaxed. One thing that I absolutely cannot live without is Harry Potter. I don't know what I would do without it. I'm obsessed with the books and movies! I'm only on book 6 so no spoilers! Slytherin is obviously the best house. Hagrid is my favorite character because his energy is so fun! Some things I like to do are beach clean ups! I worked at a beach camp this summer and we did a beach clean up, and the trash that we picked up was turned into an artwork and was presented at Pompano Beach! The Mayor was there and everything! Anyways I think that's enough for today! Bye for now!!!

Editing: Sound Effects

 Hey blog! I'm back! Today I continued to edit our final task! Today was mainly focused on the sound effects of the film. So far we have completed the title and transitions. My group mate Kylie stepped up for the job of sound effects so I helped in areas they I knew. We wanted to find the scenes with suspense to figure out where different music will be placed. This way we can find sounds on YouTube or other websites to add on top of our footage. Being able to find the right music took a bit of time but eventually we found something. Actually adding the sound effects was a bit difficult. I had to time the video and the sound effect correctly to make it sound and look perfect. After watching the video over and over again everything finally worked out. It took a bit longer then is was supposed to. In the end it looked good so the time was worth it. Reflection-All About Me Commercial

 What technology did you learn to use?  While making this commercial I learned more about iMovie, Capcut, and YouTube throughout the process. Using iMovie was a lot more difficult than I though it was going to be. Editing was the most important part about making this commercial. You might be able to add a ton of photos into iMovie, but the commercial wont come together unless it's edited. Originally I was going to use CapCut because lately I've been seeing seeing CapCut edits all over TikTok. I thought I would be able to make a commercial with it. Turns out CapCut isn't very easy to use. YouTube was pretty easy to use. all i had to do was upload my video, but i did need a bit of help with that lol. What did you learn about the process of putting a project together? One of the biggest things I learned was that the process takes time. I wanted to rush and get my commercial done. I think I could've made it better if I took my time with it. Another thing is time management....
