Hey blog! I'm back! As you may know... we finished filming and now its time to start editing!  If I'm being completely honest, editing isn't my favorite thing to do. My group's main editor is my friend Rowyn. Although I wasn't the one doing all of the editing I did help out. I started out by deciding which transitions and cuts were going to be used. Throughout the video there are multiple fade ins and fade outs. These editing tools were used to show that there is a story taking place and is being shown step by step. There weren't any voice overs. The only sound used in the video was the song in the background. After Rowyn was finished with most of the editing, I looked back through the video to make sure she didn't make any mistakes. There was one shot that didn't have a transition. The way the two videos we put together looked a bit odd to me. I added a transition into the video to make it look more neat. There is one point in the video where we used an

 Hey blog! I'm back! Filming day two was very successful! Surprisingly enough my group got the filming done a lot quicker than I thought we would. Yesterday was the second day of filming. Around 11 scenes were filmed yesterday. After the first day of filming the music video was only 26 seconds long. My group knew we needed to make the scenes at location two longer. I'm not sure if I already told you, but Holiday Park was where we filmed the second part of the video. Yesterday was probably my favorite filming day. That may be because got hit by a car (for the video) and when I watched the footage over I couldn't stop laughing! In the first part of the video it was mainly focused on Kylie and what she was doing as I was "stalking" her. With our latest part of filming I was involved in a lot more scenes. Hey blog! I'm back! On Monday my group and I filmed at our first location of the music video! As you know I was a stalker. My costume consisted of all black clothes and a yellow mask with a mustache. I think I looked amazing! My acting had a very mysterious and creepy vibe. About five scenes were shot in Dillard's at the Galleria Mall. Most of the scenes I was in were tracking shots and over the shoulder shots. A wide shot was filmed in the parking garage of the mall. If I'm being completely honest, I think that was my favorite scene. Tomorrow the video will be completed at our second location in Holiday Park. With all the shots taken in the mall, it made up 26 seconds. We have to make sure that each scene we film tomorrow is at least 6 seconds. So far the video matches with music which is exactly what we need! I wasn't in that many scenes when we filmed the first 5 scenes. Kylie (one of the girls in my group) was in most of them. I will be shown in the last few scenes.

 Hey blog! I'm back! I don't think you understand how excited I am to film this music video! Nothing has been filmed yet but its ok. My school has an early release on Monday so that's when my group is going to start filming. My group and I will be trying to get the video done in 3 hours. The filming locations will be at the galleria mall and holiday park. I think I already said this but I will be wearing all black with a white mask. I hope to get the music video shots done with in 2-3 days. The editing time that I will need to get my part done is about 2-4 days, and that's if I don't procrastinate lol. When editing I believe I'm going to use iMovie but it all depends on what features iMovie has to offer. Depending on how well iMovie works with the clips of the video I might also using Capcut. When it comes to filming I believe acting is everything. I will be acting to the best of my ability and I hope the other girls in my group do the same. Oh and as an FYI we

 Hey Blog! I'm back again! I'm starting a new project as you guys know. My role in the music video is a stalker! Spooky right? For my costume I think I'm going to buy a white mask, just to make me look ominous. I'm going to wear all black to give off that stalker look. For one of the scenes I'm going to need some fake blood lol. I'm not sure where I'm going to get that though... maybe Party City will have some. I am going to be helping with filming the scenes that I am not in. I believe we are going to use my phone to film, but some of the other girls may have a better camera. We are still figuring some of those small details out. The video is going to have 12 scenes AT LEAST. My job is to figure out how long each scene must be. The video has to be a minute long. For this music video I hope to accomplish giving off a stalkerish vibe... if that makes sense. I want to act as best as I can. One of the other girls in my group will be doing the editing. I believe

There is then a close up of Kylie shaking her head in confusion. Scene 5:  Kylie tells Rowyn "Let's go, something is weird", tracking shot of them walking to the car. Scene 6:  Kylie and Rowyn are walking to their car, a vehicle drives past and Mia is behind it. Scene 7:   Kylie walks in the park listening to music. Scene 8:  Long shot of Mia popping behind a tree, starting to walk to Kylie.   Props -  Knife - This is for our stalker (Mia) and she will use this to scare the victim (Kylie).  Fake Blood - We plan to use fake blood for some shots to bring gore and creepiness into our video.  Phone - For our victim to try and call the police.  Bat - To hurt the stalker. Ring camera - this will be used for one shot, we are still deciding what to do with it.  Location -  We are currently planning on filming in the Galleria in Fort Lauderdale, mainly in the parking garage but also some scenes in the mall. But we also decided we should add a second location. Kylie's house is right next to the beach so we also might incorporate some of that.   Schedule -  While this is still being decided on, the most likely date we will film this will be November 2nd. November 2nd is also "Day of the Dead" which contributes to the theme of the music video.  Backup plan -  Kylie is very busy with softball on the weekends so we would most likely do something after school. Hey there! I'm back! It's already time for a new project in class! A music video!!! I'm working in a group with two other girls from my class, Rowyn and Kylie. I chose to work with them because they are my friends. Aside from that, I know the three of us will get the video done to the best of our ability. Some of us may not be the best actors but we will get it done lol. The song we chose is I Can See You (Taylors Version) by Taylor Swift. We chose this song because in honor of Halloween coming up, the plot of our music video is going to be a bit spooky. I Can See You has the type of lyrics that are perfect for the video plot! In addition to that we all love Taylor Swift. The roles in the video aren't confirmed, but we have an idea of what roles are going to be in the video. I was going to make it as a surprise, but my role is a stalker. Like I said its not completely confirmed, but it's very likely my role will stay the same. I am so excited to make the music video

Hey there! I'm back! My name is Mia Landol and I am a tenth grader at Fort Lauderdale High. My favorite sport is volleyball. I've been playing for a little over 4 years. I'm on the JV team at school and my teammates are like my best friends. Some of my favorite things to do are sleep, eat, and hang with friends. I'm a little nervous for the school year ahead because of all the work I'm going to have to do, but I know I will be able to push through. My favorite subject is history! I love learning about the past and how it will effect the future. My least favorite subject is math. I haven't always been the best when it comes to algebra or geometry but my goal this year is to pass with at least a B! I like arts and crafts a lot.
