Editing: Title and Transitions

 Hey blog! I'm back and better then ever! I'm so excited to be able to start the editing process of the final task. Although it is going to be difficult, our group has designated much of the time we spend to editing the film. To start off the editing process, I helped work on the transitions and title. We have decided to use iMovie to edit because it is an app we are all familiar with. The entire group as apple devices meaning we can all access iMovie easily. I started helping with the editing as soon as possible because I  knew it would take a while. I have decided to dedicate 30 mins of my day to editing so I can help make this process go much quicker. One of my other group members have created the title and all that is needed is the credits. The credits are something that the entire group should do together. Working as a team should allow us to finish quickly. I believe the plan is to have a black screen and have the names appear there. Completing the editing process isn't going to be easy. Working as a team and sharing ideas is one of the best strategies to getting this done quickly. I know my group can handle it. I'm going to get back to editing! That's all for today! Editing: Sound Effects

 Hey blog! I'm back! Today I continued to edit our final task! Today was mainly focused on the sound effects of the film. So far we have completed the title and transitions. My group mate Kylie stepped up for the job of sound effects so I helped in areas they I knew. We wanted to find the scenes with suspense to figure out where different music will be placed. This way we can find sounds on YouTube or other websites to add on top of our footage. Being able to find the right music took a bit of time but eventually we found something. Actually adding the sound effects was a bit difficult. I had to time the video and the sound effect correctly to make it sound and look perfect. After watching the video over and over again everything finally worked out. It took a bit longer then is was supposed to. In the end it looked good so the time was worth it. Reflection-All About Me Commercial

 What technology did you learn to use?  While making this commercial I learned more about iMovie, Capcut, and YouTube throughout the process. Using iMovie was a lot more difficult than I though it was going to be. Editing was the most important part about making this commercial. You might be able to add a ton of photos into iMovie, but the commercial wont come together unless it's edited. Originally I was going to use CapCut because lately I've been seeing seeing CapCut edits all over TikTok. I thought I would be able to make a commercial with it. Turns out CapCut isn't very easy to use. YouTube was pretty easy to use. all i had to do was upload my video, but i did need a bit of help with that lol. What did you learn about the process of putting a project together? One of the biggest things I learned was that the process takes time. I wanted to rush and get my commercial done. I think I could've made it better if I took my time with it. Another thing is time management....
