Production Blog - Complications

 Hi there! I'm back! So I' m kind of having a few complications. First of all I'm not the best editor. Second, my photos and videos aren't placing the way I want them to. I'm not sure if its iMovie or the way my placing them but this is really frustrating. I also can't find my song on iMovie. When I search up my song it doesn't show up and it really starting to concern me. I'm also having trouble figuring out what order to put my photos and videos in. I know that sounds like a really dumb problem, but trust me is a big one. Other than that everything is going good! To be fair its been a while since I've used iMovie. I know I said that I should be able to do this easy but its been almost 4 years. I'm going to keep trying to get this work, but I think I can do it. I know I  can! I think I'm going to try making my commercial on a different device because the problem might be the computer. Maybe I'll try doing it on my iPad! Time to get to work...AGAIN. I'll see you guys next time! Hopefully then I'll be almost done with my commercial lol! Bye for now!

Editing: Sound Effects

 Hey blog! I'm back! Today I continued to edit our final task! Today was mainly focused on the sound effects of the film. So far we have completed the title and transitions. My group mate Kylie stepped up for the job of sound effects so I helped in areas they I knew. We wanted to find the scenes with suspense to figure out where different music will be placed. This way we can find sounds on YouTube or other websites to add on top of our footage. Being able to find the right music took a bit of time but eventually we found something. Actually adding the sound effects was a bit difficult. I had to time the video and the sound effect correctly to make it sound and look perfect. After watching the video over and over again everything finally worked out. It took a bit longer then is was supposed to. In the end it looked good so the time was worth it. Reflection-All About Me Commercial

 What technology did you learn to use?  While making this commercial I learned more about iMovie, Capcut, and YouTube throughout the process. Using iMovie was a lot more difficult than I though it was going to be. Editing was the most important part about making this commercial. You might be able to add a ton of photos into iMovie, but the commercial wont come together unless it's edited. Originally I was going to use CapCut because lately I've been seeing seeing CapCut edits all over TikTok. I thought I would be able to make a commercial with it. Turns out CapCut isn't very easy to use. YouTube was pretty easy to use. all i had to do was upload my video, but i did need a bit of help with that lol. What did you learn about the process of putting a project together? One of the biggest things I learned was that the process takes time. I wanted to rush and get my commercial done. I think I could've made it better if I took my time with it. Another thing is time management....
