Re-Edit Final Task

 Hey blog! I'm back one final time before you see the final product! Today we are re-editing the film due to the addition filming we did yesterday. The editing process definitely isn't my favorite part of making this film. At this point I think I would've quit if we weren't so close to the end. LOL! To start off, our original audio had a copyright strike! Obviously we cant use that! It is very sad because our original audio was perfect! The title said it was copyright free but that was a lie. The last thing we wanted was to get flagged for copyright and have out video taken down so we changed it. We added the new audio to the film and I cant lie, it actually fits perfectly. Another thing that we added to the film was a green screen for the news reporter scene. Learning how to use this tool through iMovie was probably the best thing ever! The scene looks so much better! I'm truly happy with how all the editing turned out! I'm so proud to say we are finally done with our final task! I will show you guys the final product in the next blog! Thats all for today!  Hey blog! Today we are starting the planning process of our Final Task!  The font we chose to use are Old Typewriter and Cold Night for Alligators from the website Dafont.com. We wanted to go for a creepy vibe so we chose these two fonts because they succumbed our expectations. Old Typewriter had a very eerie look to it which went with the theme we are trying to achieve. We loved the old look to it because modern type writing fonts look too clean so we wanted more of a messy look. Our second font was Cold Night for Alligators, despite the interesting name, it had a perfect look to it.  The background of  the title design is black and the words are a bright red. We used a font that looks like dripping blood, hence the red color. The font size is 170 and is in all caps so it appeared to be really big on the screen. What titles are displayed during the opening sequences?  The titles that are displayed in the opening sequence of the movie are Universal, BH Productions, Goalpost Productions, Nervous Tick Productions, and finally the title of the movie "The Invisible Man." They are shown ad water splashes on the rocks creating the names. 2. What images are prioritized in the opening sequences? The images that are prioritized include the Universal title sequence is shown as well as the BH Productions title sequence.   CCR MV 1. How does your product use or challenge conventions AND how does it represent social groups or issues? My group did our research at the start of the process with other videos that were in our genre. We researched three other Taylor Swift songs to see how she made her music videos. This allowed us to get an idea what shots, angles, and what kinds of editing we needed to do. By doing this, making the music video and editing was pretty easy because we already knew what we were going to do. Our video represents younger kids turning into teenagers. Our locations were at Holiday Park and the Galleria Mall. Both of these places were spots me and my friends spent our time at while growing up. Whether it may be playing sports at the park or shopping for toys at the mall.
