Production Blog - Almost Done!

Hey guys! I'm back! So as you guys know I was having some trouble with my commercial. I wasn't able to figure a few thing out, but I finally did it! I'm almost done with my commercial. I just need a few more photos or videos to make sure it's long enough! I was thinking about doing one long video for my last clip. Maybe something of me being crazy or silly. Something like that! I'm honestly so excited to see how it turns out in the end. If I'm being completely honest it was really hard choosing which photos to use. I had too many and the start so I had to cut some out, but I'm loving the way it looks so far! At first I though this commercial would've taken me forever to do and I honestly thought I wasn't going to enjoy doing it. I've had so much fun working on it though! I loved editing and choosing my music. I loved debating on which photos and videos to use and which I should cut out. I truly had a lot of fun doing this because its been a while since I've had to do something like this. Alright! I think that's enough chit chat for now! Time to finish this commercial! Editing: Sound Effects

 Hey blog! I'm back! Today I continued to edit our final task! Today was mainly focused on the sound effects of the film. So far we have completed the title and transitions. My group mate Kylie stepped up for the job of sound effects so I helped in areas they I knew. We wanted to find the scenes with suspense to figure out where different music will be placed. This way we can find sounds on YouTube or other websites to add on top of our footage. Being able to find the right music took a bit of time but eventually we found something. Actually adding the sound effects was a bit difficult. I had to time the video and the sound effect correctly to make it sound and look perfect. After watching the video over and over again everything finally worked out. It took a bit longer then is was supposed to. In the end it looked good so the time was worth it. Reflection-All About Me Commercial

 What technology did you learn to use?  While making this commercial I learned more about iMovie, Capcut, and YouTube throughout the process. Using iMovie was a lot more difficult than I though it was going to be. Editing was the most important part about making this commercial. You might be able to add a ton of photos into iMovie, but the commercial wont come together unless it's edited. Originally I was going to use CapCut because lately I've been seeing seeing CapCut edits all over TikTok. I thought I would be able to make a commercial with it. Turns out CapCut isn't very easy to use. YouTube was pretty easy to use. all i had to do was upload my video, but i did need a bit of help with that lol. What did you learn about the process of putting a project together? One of the biggest things I learned was that the process takes time. I wanted to rush and get my commercial done. I think I could've made it better if I took my time with it. Another thing is time management....
