Filming Day One!

Hey blog! I'm back! On Monday my group and I filmed at our first location of the music video! As you know I was a stalker. My costume consisted of all black clothes and a yellow mask with a mustache. I think I looked amazing! My acting had a very mysterious and creepy vibe. About five scenes were shot in Dillard's at the Galleria Mall. Most of the scenes I was in were tracking shots and over the shoulder shots. A wide shot was filmed in the parking garage of the mall. If I'm being completely honest, I think that was my favorite scene. Tomorrow the video will be completed at our second location in Holiday Park. With all the shots taken in the mall, it made up 26 seconds. We have to make sure that each scene we film tomorrow is at least 6 seconds. So far the video matches with music which is exactly what we need! I wasn't in that many scenes when we filmed the first 5 scenes. Kylie (one of the girls in my group) was in most of them. I will be shown in the last few scenes. I will keep you guys update, obviously. Tomorrow the footage is going to be so funny!!! I think that's all for now! See ya soon!

Editing: Sound Effects

 Hey blog! I'm back! Today I continued to edit our final task! Today was mainly focused on the sound effects of the film. So far we have completed the title and transitions. My group mate Kylie stepped up for the job of sound effects so I helped in areas they I knew. We wanted to find the scenes with suspense to figure out where different music will be placed. This way we can find sounds on YouTube or other websites to add on top of our footage. Being able to find the right music took a bit of time but eventually we found something. Actually adding the sound effects was a bit difficult. I had to time the video and the sound effect correctly to make it sound and look perfect. After watching the video over and over again everything finally worked out. It took a bit longer then is was supposed to. In the end it looked good so the time was worth it. Reflection-All About Me Commercial

 What technology did you learn to use?  While making this commercial I learned more about iMovie, Capcut, and YouTube throughout the process. Using iMovie was a lot more difficult than I though it was going to be. Editing was the most important part about making this commercial. You might be able to add a ton of photos into iMovie, but the commercial wont come together unless it's edited. Originally I was going to use CapCut because lately I've been seeing seeing CapCut edits all over TikTok. I thought I would be able to make a commercial with it. Turns out CapCut isn't very easy to use. YouTube was pretty easy to use. all i had to do was upload my video, but i did need a bit of help with that lol. What did you learn about the process of putting a project together? One of the biggest things I learned was that the process takes time. I wanted to rush and get my commercial done. I think I could've made it better if I took my time with it. Another thing is time management....
