Editing Day 2

 Hi blog! I'm back! It's time for editing day 2!! Last day of editing and I am so glad to be done with this part of the music video! The music video will be posted next week! For today I will be explaining the transitions and how we got some of the shots to match the music. Starting off, there is a screen recording of me texting kylie "I can see you..." this clips was inserted to match the lyric "I can see you" from the song! I really love how we put this together! It looks really cool. Next, while Rowyn was filming an over the shoulder shot of me, I slide out of frame on the beat of the music. Honestly, I think that part of the video looks so cool! I love the idea that I had! At holiday park, I had the idea of adding in multiple wide shots just to show where we were. There were multiple fade ins and the THEME transition was used  to make this possible. For example, when the scene of kylie "running me over" was shot, I added the theme transition to make it look more neat, instead of making the scene cut straight to me on the ground. It looks more neat this way. Helping editing was honestly more fun than I thought it would be. I'm so glad I got to be apart of this experience with these girls. Editing: Sound Effects

 Hey blog! I'm back! Today I continued to edit our final task! Today was mainly focused on the sound effects of the film. So far we have completed the title and transitions. My group mate Kylie stepped up for the job of sound effects so I helped in areas they I knew. We wanted to find the scenes with suspense to figure out where different music will be placed. This way we can find sounds on YouTube or other websites to add on top of our footage. Being able to find the right music took a bit of time but eventually we found something. Actually adding the sound effects was a bit difficult. I had to time the video and the sound effect correctly to make it sound and look perfect. After watching the video over and over again everything finally worked out. It took a bit longer then is was supposed to. In the end it looked good so the time was worth it. Reflection-All About Me Commercial

 What technology did you learn to use?  While making this commercial I learned more about iMovie, Capcut, and YouTube throughout the process. Using iMovie was a lot more difficult than I though it was going to be. Editing was the most important part about making this commercial. You might be able to add a ton of photos into iMovie, but the commercial wont come together unless it's edited. Originally I was going to use CapCut because lately I've been seeing seeing CapCut edits all over TikTok. I thought I would be able to make a commercial with it. Turns out CapCut isn't very easy to use. YouTube was pretty easy to use. all i had to do was upload my video, but i did need a bit of help with that lol. What did you learn about the process of putting a project together? One of the biggest things I learned was that the process takes time. I wanted to rush and get my commercial done. I think I could've made it better if I took my time with it. Another thing is time management....
