Filming Scenes 4 & 5

     Hey blog! I'm back with another update! Today we filmed scenes 4 and 5! The filming process went a lot smoother today and I am so proud of my group! We learned out lesson from yesterday and was able to fix mistakes much easier. Although we didn't have as much time as we would have liked we got a lot done! Today I wasn't needed on screen so I helped behind the camera. I am not the designated camera man but I help wherever I can. This final task has allowed me to work better with a group and has allowed me to share ideas to make the film even better. So far we have filmed almost half of the scenes, but if we keep working like we did today we will be on the perfect track to finishing in time! In this film I play the part of a news reporter and a police officer which is in later scenes. Hopefully by the next time we film I'll be in front of the camera. The filming process went very smoothly today and I can tell that my group is getting comfortable working together! Being someone who isn't very good with working alongside other people, I think I'm doing a really good job. If we continue to work together and stay serious we can get this film done really soon! My group and I will be meeting soon to continue filming! Hopefully we can get as much done as we did today, maybe even more! I'll keep you updated! That's all for today! See ya soon!

Editing: Sound Effects

 Hey blog! I'm back! Today I continued to edit our final task! Today was mainly focused on the sound effects of the film. So far we have completed the title and transitions. My group mate Kylie stepped up for the job of sound effects so I helped in areas they I knew. We wanted to find the scenes with suspense to figure out where different music will be placed. This way we can find sounds on YouTube or other websites to add on top of our footage. Being able to find the right music took a bit of time but eventually we found something. Actually adding the sound effects was a bit difficult. I had to time the video and the sound effect correctly to make it sound and look perfect. After watching the video over and over again everything finally worked out. It took a bit longer then is was supposed to. In the end it looked good so the time was worth it. Reflection-All About Me Commercial

 What technology did you learn to use?  While making this commercial I learned more about iMovie, Capcut, and YouTube throughout the process. Using iMovie was a lot more difficult than I though it was going to be. Editing was the most important part about making this commercial. You might be able to add a ton of photos into iMovie, but the commercial wont come together unless it's edited. Originally I was going to use CapCut because lately I've been seeing seeing CapCut edits all over TikTok. I thought I would be able to make a commercial with it. Turns out CapCut isn't very easy to use. YouTube was pretty easy to use. all i had to do was upload my video, but i did need a bit of help with that lol. What did you learn about the process of putting a project together? One of the biggest things I learned was that the process takes time. I wanted to rush and get my commercial done. I think I could've made it better if I took my time with it. Another thing is time management....
